After 2 weeks of hot selling of all kinds PS3 dongle,Sony is taking action again.A new PS3 Update 3.50 released,just a few days after its 3.42 firmware update.
PS3 3.42 firmware is known to be a block of all PS3 Jailbreak things,and it works.Psgroove team is claim to release the PS3 Jailbreak fix to 3.42 firmware on Sep 16th.But till now,there is no more news which should means 3.42 block is not that easy to hack.
So,it’s safe to say,there is no any PS3 dongle can hack 3.42 which means all PS3 dongle is “safe” to buy cause they all can’t hack 3.42.When?Maybe weeks,maybe months.But Sony is clearly want to this way.That’s why they update their firmware more frequently now.
The 3.50 update will allow the PS3 to play Blu-Ray 3D. Since April, the PS3 console is the only one to be compatible with games in three dimensions, from September 21, users can also watch movies through their consoles .This announcement allows Sony to highlight its slight lead over competitors with this technology. This update will be available in Japan and normally the same day, in other countries including US.Along with Blu-Ray playback support, the update will also include support for Facebook to see and share your game information with your friends.
